Whiskey Pete’s Hotel
Whiskey Pete’s hotel is a 777-room hotel and casino in Primm, Nevada. It is 35 miles south of Las Vegas.
Whiskey Pete’s is a part of the Primm Valley casino resorts. The hotel has accomodations for non-smokers and disabled guests. Whiskey Pet’s casino was opened in 1977 on the site of an old gas station. The hotel and casino are named after the former owner of the gas station.
The exterior of the hotel resembles a castle. The hotel’s two towers are visible from interstate 15. The interior of the hotel has a vivid, colorful western theme. Whiskey Pete’s has a beautifully landscaped pool with a water slide.
Whiskey Pet’s Hotel has a 700-seat showroom that offers a weekend Comedy Club on Friday and Saturday. The showroom can also be used for special events. Whiskey Pet’s also has a 36,400 square foot casino with 1,314 slot machines, 30 table games, a keno lounge, and a race and sports book. Live entertainment is also available at Whiskey Pete’s Stage Bar Lounge.
The Silver Spur Steakhouse and Wagon Wheel buffet are among the restaurants available at Whiskey Pete’s Hotel and Casino. The Trail’s End Coffee Shop offers twenty-four hour service. There is also a McDonald’s on site that offers to-go service.
There are parking lots surrounding the hotel as well as a parking garage. Free parking and complimentary valet parking is available in these locations.
A monorail and ground shuttles connect Whiskey Pete’s Hotel to two nearby hotels, the Primm Valley Resort and Casino and Buffalo Bill’s Resort and casino.
These two locations have their own casinos. They also offer additional options for live entertainment, dining, and shopping. Buffalo Bill’s has a video game arcade, a roller coaster, a motion simulator, a flume water ride, and a roller coaster simulator. It also has a ride called the Turbo Drop that drops riders straight down from a height of 170 feet at 45 miles per hour.
